The 2024 Scotland Highland Festival WILL be held on Sunday, October 13, 2024. The address of the festival is at the Brooklyn, Ct. Fairgrounds, Rt 169, Brooklyn, Ct. 06234.
Our gates will be open at 0900 A.M. for those who want to visit with old friends and shop at the many vendors Our opening ceremonies will take place at 1200 Noon on the Parade Grounds.
The fairgrounds offers on site parking for all who want to attend, no need to shuffle through a mowed corn lot or a shuttle buss, just park and walk right through our gate.

If you have lost a loved one, a fellow clans person and you would like their name read during the Flowers of the Forest we invite you to submit their names for the Flowers of the Forest remembrance by email to info@scotlandgames.org. If you would like to text us the name and clan info please text this to 860 917 5064. If you want to write a person's name and info on a piece of paper please fee to do so and pass this along to any committee member or someone at the announcing tent PRIOR to 1140am. Names will be read at the opening ceremonies.
WE would also like to thank Dan Taggart, Pipe Major of the Clan Ross Band in Lebanon, CT for playing the Flowers of the Forest on his bagpipes through out the years for us.
The festival address is 96 Waldo Road, Scotland, CT 06264. Waldo Road is closed to traffic before the 9:00 am start of the festival. On-site parking access to the Waldo Homestead is via Murphy Hill Road or Plains Road, Scotland. You may also view the event sitemap here: https://scotlandgames.org/location/.
We have provided two shuttle parking lots, one which is across the street from the Scotland Volunteer Fire Department on Brook Road, Scotland, Ct. The second shuttle bus parking lot is located at the Sayles School, 25 Scotland Road, Baltic, Ct.
We do offer parking at the Waldo Road Festival grounds BUT PLEASE be aware that these lots are very busy, some may have you walking a distance to get to the gates and the lots are either a hay field or a corn field, both of which are mowed over as close to the ground as possible to make it a little easier for both driving & walking.
Local traffic patterns are affected during the games. Signage will direct you to the appropriate gate and parking.
PLEASE NOTE that the parking areas on Waldo Road next to the festival site are both hay fields and corn fields that were recently harvested. We have mowed down the crops as close to the ground as possible to help make it a bit easier walking and driving through.
The GPS address for the festival is 96 Waldo Road, Scotland, Ct. PLEASE NOTE that Waldo Rd. is CLOSED to A:: traffic starting at 0900 A.M. until 5 P.M.
