Paul is in charge of the Clan Village and the running of our monthly meetings.

Reg Patchell was elected Vice president of the Highland Festival Committee. Reg is in charge of the web site and the Facebook site. Reg also is in charge of the Pipe Bands, the animals on display, assists with the grounds and takes a LOT of the photos for our pages.

Carl Banks
Joanne Todd has been our treasurer for many years and has always been very helpful at every festival by running the gates, wrist band counts, etc. Joanne will continue on by assisting Carl Banks with his duties as treasurer.

John Spencer
John is one of the original committee members who helped to join this festival to this beautiful location on the Waldo Property here in Scotland.
John has served all rolls on our committee including Chairman several years. John has always been our go to person with any questions pertaining to this festival. John assists with all aspects of the festival from planning, set up, take down and he is also in charge of the Clan Village. John also supervises our Bonnie Knees Contest SO, if you want to have your knees judged OR be a judge in the Bonnie Knees Contest-- please see John Spencer.

Joanne Todd
Joanne has served as our committee chairperson for many years, she has taken care of all gate duties, the Scotland Libraries tent/table which serves as our main area for festival information, items for sale, etc. Joanne now assists Carl Banks with everything to do with his festival duties.

Reg posts updates on our Face Book page as well as our web page. Reg also hires the bagpipe bands who perform at our annual festival as well as contracts the animals which will be on grounds as exhibits and demonstrations

Reg also assists in set up and take down of festival , mowing of all fields used for parking & clearing stone walls of over growth.

Bill Cournoyer

Bill is a committee member who assists with many areas from the ground & stone wall upkeep, set up and take down of the festival. Bill is the festival's historian as well as taking care of our advertising of our festival in the different medias. Bill also helps to man the Scottish Dancers booth in the Clan Village where you may find him smiling and dancing away.

Elizabeth Dickerson
Elizabeth Dickerson initiated the idea of having a Harp Tent at our festival many years ago. Since her first meeting, she has been a very busy lady getting this program off the ground and now has a much loved following.
Many have a seat during the festival to watch the Harp demonstrations and listen to musicians play their Harps and listen to the beautiful music that comes from this instrument.

Cathy is a committee member who handles the Highland dance competitions that are held at our festival.

WE look forward to seeing all of the musicians who will participate at our 2022 Highland Festival.

WE are looking for some new ( HOPEFULLY Younger) members to help us to continue this beautiful festival. Our festival is one that has something for the entire family to enjoy.
Our committee meets on the third Tuesday of each month in the meeting room of the Sprague Town Hall, on the second floor. The Sprague Town Hall is located at 1 Main Street, Baltic, Ct. 06330.
We are not asking that you attend every meeting but a few a year will assist all of us. What we REALLY NEED are some younger people to assist us in setting everything up for this beautiful festival to take place. WE could also use a hand in the take down as well so if you have any interest at all in joining our committee PLEASE feel free to contact us.
