Hello everyone who has ever visited, and or, are planning on visiting our festival. At tonight's Highland Festival Committee meeting the members discussed numerous sites that we have been in touch with, walked through and broke down the pros and cons of each site.
More then anything we would have loved to stay in Scotland which was our initial home over 35 years ago but unfortunately that was not to be. We would have loved to stay and continue on with the beautiful location which had been our home, BUT now we are calling " Brooklyn our new Scotland."
The festival location will be at the Brooklyn , Ct. Fairgrounds, still being held on Sunday, October 13th, 2024. We will be posting updates as times go on BUT we just wanted to make sure that everyone knows that we ARE still going to hold our annual festival and that we will be at the Brooklyn Ct Fairgrounds. We would like to thank the committee of the Brooklyn Fair Grounds who were so informational and allowed us to walk throughout the site as we try to plan things out.
